    The Action Team

Make a POSITIVE difference in other people's lives and your community by joining the ACTION TEAM!

The Gridley Live Spot ACTION TEAM is a unique volunteer program that prepares high school aged youth for leadership, responsibility and jobs.  ACTION TEAM members are an important part of the Gridley Live Spot and have the opportunity to create and implement activities for the participants at the Live Spot, as well as participate in community projects and events.

The ACTION TEAM routinely shows appreciation to our community's law enforcement and fire fighters by presenting them with homemade baked goodies.  Also, the ACTION TEAM enjoys volunteering at the local animal shelter to help prepare the lovable pooches for adoption. If you enjoy making positive changes in the lives of others, as well as giving back to your community, the ACTION TEAM is the perfect opportunity to do that.

Come join us this Thursday, March 28th at the Sutter Butte Canine Kennel to help prepare the all-so-cute doggies for their impending adoption!

Next ActionTeam meeting is on Thursday, April 11th for a really great resume building workshop!!

    • Highlights of the Year

Every year in April our staff members get the opportunity to share what some of their highlights were of the school year at the annual Prevention Unit Awards Banquet. Many times we dont get to hear what your highlights were, so this is a blog for all of the participants who were involved in FNL, Club Live, Impact Mentoring, Live Spot, YD Conference, Strengthening Families, and the Reach for the Future Conference to share one story or experience that made this year special for you. We will be puting some of these amazing stories on the big screen at the Awards Banquet so please share, encourage and inspire one another with what you have experienced and accomplished this year. I look forward to hearing what you have to say!!
