Friday Night Live is a youth led action group that meets weekly on high school campuses or on community based sites. FNL builds leadership skills, broadens young peoples social network, implements strategies to reduce youth access to alcohol and supports young people through life challenges and situations.
Our meetings are every Thursday during lunch! Both lunches will be held in O-6. Everyone is welcome!
Officer meetings take place in the library every Thursday at 3pm.

One of the goals of FNL is to reduce underage drinking and we do this by educating parents on underage drinking norms in Butte County. Our goal is to reach 75 parents and have 50 parents sign a pledge saying that they will not provide alcohol to underage youth or allow underage drinking in their homes. These are our current stats!

Every year in April our staff members get the opportunity to share what some of their highlights were of the school year at the annual Prevention Unit Awards Banquet. Many times we dont get to hear what your highlights were, so this is a blog for all of the participants who were involved in FNL, Club Live, Impact Mentoring, Live Spot, YD Conference, Strengthening Families, and the Reach for the Future Conference to share one story or experience that made this year special for you. We will be puting some of these amazing stories on the big screen at the Awards Banquet so please share, encourage and inspire one another with what you have experienced and accomplished this year. Last semester we kicked off our School Climate project! Students wrote grams to their friends saying what they appreciated most about them. It was huge success and the students sent over 250 grams!
Today is our first meeting of the new semester, it's going to be a fun one!
