Friday Night Live is a youth led action group that meets weekly on high school campuses or on community based sites. FNL builds leadership skills, broadens young peoples social network, implements strategies to reduce youth access to alcohol and supports young people through life challenges and situations.

OHS members continue to raise awareness with its school climate project on campus. The project is called To Write Love On Her Arms and deals with how to prevent suicide and depression among high school students. OHS officers and members recently helped pass out FNL Valentine's, "I LOVE YOU" lollipops, and "love" wristbands! Thanks to all who came out and supported!
The goal of our school climate project is to uplift students and reaffirm on campus that there are fellow students who care about their well being, and overall health. In addition, OHS members continue to seek out people who have personal stories they want to share in regards to bullying. We would like to thank everyone who continue to come to Friday Night Live meetings, and we would love to have new members. GO TIGERS!!!
Oroville's Friday Night Live will be doing its 2nd Parent Convening in February TBA. Parent Committed asks parents to get more involved in their youth's lives, help reduce youth access to alcohol, and hear data in regards to underage drinking in Butte County. We will also be showing our award winning documentary "Wasted". This event will be at the Live Spot. Snacks and refreshments will be served for those in attendance. The time of the convening will be from 6:00-7:30 pm. Get involved and help us make our 2011-12 Environmental Project a successful campaign.
