Chico High friday night Live

Friday Night Live is a youth led action group that meets weekly on high school campuses or on community based sites. FNL builds leadership skills, broadens young peoples social network, implements strategies to reduce youth access to alcohol and supports young people through life challenges and situations.

Chapter Update

This year we are challenging students through Friday Night Lives’ school climate project to do their part in creating a safe, positive, and fun atmosphere on campus. Our goal is to inspire Chico High's students to step up and initiate the change they want to see on their campus. We are dedicated to providing our youth with opportunities to be leaders and role models in our community! Our school climate projects this year has been very successful. In November we had a compliment booth, where students could come and write a compliment to their friends. In December we started bag tags! These a laminated sheets of paper with inspirational quotes on them. With this project we hope to brighten someones day by a giving them a fun quote. We also provided Chico High with a BOOM Tree. This is a tree located in the common area that is filled with cards that have BOOM tasks on them. Each card has spots to fill in names on after 5 people have completed a task, they can turn it into the office and get entered in a raffle for a prize! Friday Night Live hopes the BOOM tree will spur tons of kind acts throughout the school. If you like our projects come join us in room A-110 every Monday!
