Chico High friday night Live

Friday Night Live is a youth led action group that meets weekly on high school campuses or on community based sites. FNL builds leadership skills, broadens young peoples social network, implements strategies to reduce youth access to alcohol and supports young people through life challenges and situations.

Freshman Lunch meets every Thursday at 11:07 AM, room B-1

Upper Class Lunch meets every Thursday at 12:10 PM in room B-1.

Officer Meeting:

Officers will meet every Monday at their respective lunchtimes in B-1!

Chapter Update

This year we are challenging students through Friday Night Lives’ school climate project to do their part in creating a safe, positive, and fun atmosphere on campus. Our goal is to inspire Chico High's students to step up and initiate the change they want to see on their campus. We are dedicated to providing our youth with opportunities to be leaders and role models in our community! Our world Cafe results are in and out of the 65 students who attended our World Cafe over 20 students selected the project "To Write Love on her Arms." This campaign is a national campaign that promotes finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide by building a hopeful environment that promotes life and freedom. We are collecting creative work that answers the question..."through these eyes I see...", asking students to reflect on the way they perceive their world and life. Please submit entries of artwork or writings to Mr. Carol in B-8. You have a chance to get your pieces published in 7/8ths underwater and/ or win a prize, please put your contact information on your entries if you would like the chance to be published or win a prize. Please attend our next meeting to see how you can help change our campus in a positive way though the implementation of "To Write Love on her Arms. We meet every Thursday in room B1 at lunch.

This was the challenge our Friday Night Live members took on last year and I have no doubt that this years challenge will continue to change lives.
