Club Live is a youth led action group that meets on junior high school campuses across Butte County. Club Live builds leadership skills, broadens young peoples social network, and implements youth led projects designed to improve school climate and reduce youth access to alcohol.

Wow, what a year so far....
Our Officers have just returned from the Youth Development Summit, where they attended various workshops and participated in Committed in Action. The officers and other joining Club Live members learned how to write and complete a grant application to Youth Nexus, Butte County's Youth Philanthropy Board. At the end of their Summit experience they were granted money to help them put on an amazing World Cafe' for their school, which was held on October 31st.
Yes, the World Cafe' just happened this past Monday, which happened to be Halloween, which meant lots of energy. We had a great turn out, with almost the entire 7th and 8th grade students body, as well as, a few of the outstanding 6th graders who helped put this event together. It was at the Vet's Hall where nearly 57 students gathered to discuss the school climate on their campus, as well as, other issues that students their age face, specifically underage drinking. The students came up with some amazing project ideas for Club Live to implement this year as their School Climate Project.
This Thursday we will be go over the top two student ideas in our Club Live meeting as well as vote on which one Club Live will take on as their project for the year. So don't miss out on your chance to give input and vote for the idea you like best! Come Thursday at lunch to room 17, that is where we will be! We can't wait to see you and get the fun started =)
